US SEAL Pool Pump Shaft Seal Assembly Ps1000, 5/8"Basic Product offering for some pool pump manufacturers that is generally reliable in residential chlorine pools and good for low temperatures
Shaft seal contains buna elastomers, a phenolic (plastic) primary ring and ceramic mating ring
This material works well in applications of diluted chlorine over the surface of the pump and seal
The two ceramic surfaces must be clean at install to prevent failure.
