The thermostat can operate on (2) aa batteries without the need of any electrical power. this innovative new product was designed primarily to improve comfort in hotels and spaces that use ptac/pthp units as the primary heating and cooling source.
The wireless characteristics of this thermostat can improve the comfort in may conventional systems as well.
