Will this work for mirrors that have clips or a metal channel attaching the mirror to the wall?

Yes! These frames are the only ones on the market that have a recess in the back made specifically to fit over those metal clips or around the metal channels that are in place on the majority of builder grade mirrors.

What if I don't have any extra space around my mirror?

Does your mirror sit right against the backsplash or butt up against a side wall? No sweat. Our frames sit directly on top of the mirror, so when entering your measurements, just enter zero and the frame will align precisely with the mirror's edge on that side.

Will the humidity from the shower affect the adhesive on the frame?

We use an industrial grade adhesive that is designed specifically for our product and is guaranteed to hold up in the bathroom as long as our care instructions are followed. We’re confident you won’t have any issues with the frame being affected by the humid elements present in bathrooms.

I'm not a pro-DIYer...just how easy is this assembly and installation of the frame process?

We’ve all fallen victim to that product that claims to be an easy assembly, and then is far from. Our DIY kits come with everything you need to put your frames together - you just provide a small hammer. We hear from most customers that the assembly process takes under 30 minutes from unboxing to install, and it can even be a one person job if your mirror isn’t too large. We promise this will be a DIY project that you can actually do yourself.

Are the frames easily removable?

If the frame must come off we recommend using dental floss or fishing line to separate the foam tape from the mirror. We suggest you use Goof-Off, or a citrus-based cleaner to remove the rest of the tape from the surface of the mirror. Please understand that we cannot guarantee that your frame would be usable should you choose to remove it. E-mail info@mirrormate.com for removal instructions. It will be necessary for us to send you replacement tape and placement corners.
