The 1/2 in. SharkBite Push-to-Connect x Female Pipe Thread 90 Drop Ear Elbow allows you to make a 90 connection to 1/2 in. pipe using a push-fit connection on one end and gives you a 1/2 in. Female NPT Adapter on the opposite end. The drop-ear allows the fitting to be screwed down to secure the joint and hold firmly in place. SharkBite fittings are the easiest way to join copper, PE-RT, CPVC or PEX pipe in any combination with no soldering, clamps, unions or glue. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal.
