This Window Opening Control Device (WOCD) is for a single or double hung wood, vinyl or aluminum windows. This Reverse Retrofit Angel Ventlock is an ideal limit control device for use in aftermarket applications. This model is mounted to the face of the window frame above the sash to restrict the bottom sash opening to less than four inches so small children do not fall out of the window from the second floor and higher. These units are single action, so installing one on each side of the sash ensures compliance with the code ASTM F2090-2008 and 2010. Select this WOCD by measuring the distance from the face of the window frame to the face of the sash for this model is 13/64" to 15/64" distance.
