Product Description
Our 3M Aqua-Pure In-Line Water Filter System, AP717, is a single cartridge that helps reduce sediment, chlorine taste and odor and scale from your drinking water and ice. Ideal for refrigerators that do not include a built-in water filtration system and/or ice maker, this system can also be used for drinking fountains, coffee machines and drink dispensers. Our system uses specially formulated activated carbon and progressive porosity media for effective filtration down to 5 microns nominal. It combines chlorine taste and odor and sediment reduction to provide effective filtration for up to 1,500 Gal. (5,678 l) at 0.5 GPM flow rate. The cartridge, using standard NPT inlet/outlet connections, is sanitary in design and requires no contact with the filter media during change-out. Features include: Flow rate: 0.5 GPM/1.9 LPM; 25 - 125 psi /172 - 862 kPa pressure range; 40 - 100F/ 4.4 - 38C temperature range. Designed with specially formulated high adsorption activated carbon media to help provide reduction of chlorine taste and odor. Cartridges are sanitary in design, requiring no contact with the filter media during cartridge change-out. System materials are FDA CFR-21 compliant. To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance including replacement of the filter cartridges at the required interval, at the rated capacity, or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs is required.Reduces sediment, chlorine taste and odor and scale for clearer and cleaner drinking water, as well as ice cubesRated at 5 micron to help provide chlorine taste and odor reduction for up to 1,500 Gal./5,678 l at 0.5 GPM/1.9 LPMInline design is ideal for refrigerators, drinking fountains, ice makers, coffee machines and drink dispensersDesigned with specially formulated high adsorption activated carbon media that requires no pre-activationSystem materials are FDA CFR-21 compliantSystem is NSF/ANSI standard 42 listedFilter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water qualityProduct Videos
